Most of the events we book are either based on people we’ve met at an expo, special event, or by word of mouth.  It’s been awhile since we’ve had to do any cold-calling to try to get into a venue, and it seems like our show and reputation as nice guys is traveling around to all the right people.

That said, it’s always very important to us to know how we did after an event.  Reviews and testimonials are very important to us as they not only encourage other brides or event promoters to consider including us in their events, but also gives us an idea of what you particularly enjoyed about our services.  We’ve had some great testimonials roll in over the past few weeks that we’re proud to share with you:

If you are looking a talented, fun band, then Fun DMC is the one for you! I didn’t book them for a wedding, but rather for a community 4th of July event. They were FANTASTIC! It is obvious they have a lot of fun while they are performing and they are incredibly talented! Such a wide range of music styles. Absolutely terrific! They really got the crowd engaged and out of their seats dancing. I will definitely book them again and will seek them out to listen to them. You won’t be disappointed!

This band is amazing! We recently booked them for our indoor wedding reception. The noise level was a concern for me booking a live band but it turned out to be perfect! We are a younger couple with both college friends and older family attending the wedding. This band played a variety of music that pleased the whole crowd! The dance floor was crowded the entire night with everyone up on their feet. Toward the end, they even took Polaroid photos as a keepsake for our guests! I would recommend FunDMC for anyone’s wedding reception!

Josh, 40th Birthday Party

I saw these guys for the first time at The Curve Inn in Springfield, Il. My wife and I fell in love with the the mix/mashup of songs and the energy of the band. It felt like Fun DMC stole my phone and hit random on my favorite playlist.

We loved them so much I hired them to play my wife’s 40th birthday. Knowing how much fun these guys are I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg but they were very well priced. They even played our wedding song (I want to grow old with you from The Wedding Singer), which isn’t your typical wedding song. I received so many complements on the band and how much fun they were.

I always suggest seeing a band before hiring them but I know if you go check Fun DMC out you will love them too. I would hire them again in a heart beat. They have become one of the bands we plan our date nights around.

They played at my grad party earlier this summer. They were a fantastic band and kept the whole party rocking the entire time.
