20 Top Father Daughter Dance Songs
Posted by Fun DMC on May 19th 2016
Few things are stronger than the bonds between a father and a daughter. Of all the children that have been born into the Fun DMC family, most of them have been girls (original drummer Aaron Eversole finally broke the streak) and the relationship between them and their dads have been wonderful to watch as they grow up. An important (and emotional) part of both a young lady and her father is the moment where he gives her away at her wedding and the father daughter dance at the reception.
When it comes to choosing songs for the special moments of the wedding reception, most of it can be pretty easy. First dance? Slow song that means something to the couple. Mother/Son Dance? Go with a classic. However, this tender moment between daughter and dad can get a little tricky in finding a nice song that doesn’t come across as romantic. Luckily, as your wedding band, we take the reception music very seriously and will work closely with you to make sure that all of the special moments of your big day are covered.
