After a scorching first installment of the month of June, Fun DMC and their fans enjoyed a lovely summer night in The Boars Nest Coors Light Beer Garden last Friday night. In addition to entertaining the wonderful folks who made the trek out to Athens’ favorite hot spot, the band also celebrated the birthday of Fun DMC sound engineer, Chad Kamerad.

Chad has been essential to the creating the brilliant studio-like audio of our live shows and we couldn’t be more thrilled than to have him on as a regular part of our crew. That said, Chad is so much more than a sound tech. He helps to shape the visuals, builds and rebuilds cases, acts as an advocate for the clients, brides, grooms, and takes some very impressive photos as well. If there is a 5th Beatle among us, it would be none other than Mr. Katey Kamerad.

This Saturday we are at a wedding at New Salem Roots in Petersburg and at Lakeside Christian Church for their Annual Cook & Cruise on Sunday. If you see Chad at either event make sure you wish him a very happy belated birthday.
