I know we just did a DJ Cummerbund post a little bit ago, but I can’t help it. This guy makes some of the best mashups and I believe this one is personally his best. This is the first mashup of his I heard when I found it browsing the Twitter one day. Loudwire had posted it to their account, labeling it as Metallica’s Fuel with Chris Brown’s Fine China, but that’s not all. Ok, I’m not going to lie, I don’t know what all songs are included in this mashup, but it’s quite a few. In addition to those two, Megadeth makes an appearance (Youthanasia) along with Gorillaz (Clint Eastwood) and Macho Man Randy Savage (as is tradition with DJ Cummerbund). I believe Rihanna may have a part in it as well, but I am not 100% sure on the song.

Anyways, Fuel traditionally kicks off with James Hetfield yelling “Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire, OHH” and then breaks into an awesome guitar riff, continuing into what is arguably their best song on ReLoad. On this mashup, you have the song open the same way, except instead of breaking into the guitar riff, it goes into the smooth bass line of Fine China and it sort of transforms the entire feel of Fuel. It’s considerably more laid back and just feels like music you can relax too. Eventually the other artists make their way into the song and it all just flows like a smooth analogy that someone better at writing than me can come up with.
