Fun DMC is currently seeking a highly-energetic and dynamic performer to join our on-stage lineup. This is a deliberately, loosely-defined role as we fully understand that it would be impossible to find an exact replacement for our extraordinary, current member/singer, Albert Capati. <3 We so value everything he has brought to Fun DMC and cannot imagine any individual merely filling his position.

As we move forward as a band and company, we look forward to expanding our horizons and dedicating ourselves to continually providing exceptional entertainment services. In doing so, we are looking for someone who will be able to bring their unique talent and perspective to our group; thus, this role could include individuals who are vocalists, instrumentalists, or both.

By December 15th, send us an email with a little information about yourself. What’s your musical background? Why are you interested in joining Fun DMC. Also, submit a video to Fun DMC of a song you feel represents yourself as a performer. Please send a youtube link to info@fundmc.net

In December and January, Fun DMC will be hosting auditions. Auditions will including an interview and performance of at least one song currently performed by Fun DMC and one song that best represents the applicant.

Fun DMC is comprised of a dynamic group of performers that present a unique, high-energy stage performance suitable for people of all-ages. The members of Fun DMC work to ensure that each entertainment experience meets the individual needs of the client/event. Fun DMC not only provides live, on-stage entertainment, but also provides the following services based on the individual needs or requests of the client/customer:

Fun DMC values providing an engaging and professional, customer-friendly experience that is individualized to meet the specialized needs of each event/client. The members of Fun DMC work collaboratively to ensure that each event is a fun, memorable day for every guest in attendance.

Performer Role Definition, Expectations, & Responsibilities

Any individual interested in applying for a position with Fun DMC should understand the following:

• The individual will be a contracted performer. They will be required to submit a W-9 and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year.
• The individual will be expected to perform their designated role with Fun DMC at all events as determined in their contract.
• The individual will be present at rehearsals and will practice new material with Fun DMC as necessary.
• The performer will be required to adequately/professionally learn all new material as assigned and on their own time.
• The individual will be required to adequately prepare for all performances.
• The performer will meet the attire requirements as specified for each event.
• The individual will not perform impaired or engage in any activity that may negatively impact their performance.
• Performers will engage with all parties in a professional manner, maintaining professional conduct while representing Fun DMC.
• On-stage language and verbal conduct must be kept at a PG-rated level for nearly all performances.
• The performer may be required to set-up their own equipment and within the timeline specified by the LLC.
• The contractor is responsible for maintenance of all personal equipment and instruments.
• The contractor will be required to keep all instruments in performance-ready condition.
• Contractor may be called upon to participate in creation of promotional materials. Creation of materials is in support of all performance efforts and will be used at the discretion of the LLC
• At private events/weddings, the performer will be required to be present on-site during dinner or at a specified earlier time at private events due to needed flexibility.
• When traveling for any event outside of Springfield, the contractor will be given the option to travel together or separately
• The performer will not in any way disparage any vendors, bands, venues, etc, associated with Fun DMC and will avoiding polarizing commentary on any social media platforms.
• The contractor will be required to perform at a least 2-3 unpaid/benefit events during a calendar year. Additional requests for unpaid performances will require unanimous approval from all performers.
