During the month of July, the band has had a few rare weekends off while they regroup for August, which promises to be the busiest month for Fun DMC to date. During that time we’ve had some time to make the best of our “time off.”

As some of you know, Aaron and Callie Stanley are expecting their first little one in September and they have been hard at work renovating their house in Decatur. We are all looking forward to welcoming little Jonah to the Fun DMC family in just a few short months.

Albert spent a week with his family at a resort in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Capati, known for his persistent work ethic and crazy schedule enjoyed some well-deserved time off and away from the Midwest.

Chad Kamerad and Talon Holmes started work on a deck at Talon’s house on one of the hottest days of the 2017 summer so far. Likewise, Robert and Katey logged a few miles on the running trail in a 101 degree heat index. In addition, Robert, Talon, Katey, and Chad have also been spending their evenings playing music for the students out at Lake Springfield Baptist Camp.

On July 28th, Fun DMC will return to the stage at “America’s Favorite Neighborhood Bar,” The Blue Grouch. Hope you are all having a great summer and make sure you stay hydrated.
